Falin Thorden

Falin is Laios's younger sister, a gifted mage traveling with him in the dungeon depths. Gentle and endlessly curious about magical creatures, she studies monster ecology with real affection rather than fear. Early on, a dragon swallows her whole, and the quest to rescue her before she's digested becomes the story's driving urgency.

Saori Hayami gives Falin a warmth that makes her absence ache even as the show plays her rescue for adventure and comedy. The writing uses her curiosity about monsters as a quiet thesis for the whole series — that appetite and wonder aren't opposites — and her bond with Laios grounds every strange, funny, gruesome turn that follows.
