Eric Tanner

Eric Tanner is one of the teenagers swept up in the investigation after a young couple is attacked in their home. Quiet and guarded, he keeps his real life hidden from his family and from the world around him, giving little away as the case against him and his friends begins to take shape.

Joey Pollari plays Eric as a boy perpetually calculating what he can afford to reveal, and the show is patient enough to let that guardedness sit uncomfortably with viewers rather than explaining it away. It's a performance built on withholding, which makes every small crack in his composure land hard.
