Elizabeth Lochley

Elizabeth Lochley arrives on Babylon 5 as its new commanding officer, stepping into a post shadowed by the legend of the man she's replacing. She's a career Earthforce captain: crisp, exacting, and visibly unwilling to be measured against her predecessor. The crew watches her warily, and she knows it, and she does not flinch from it.

Tracy Scoggins plays authority as something earned moment to moment rather than assumed, which matters enormously for a character walking into a command everyone else already misses. The writing gives her real friction with the station's loyalties instead of easy deference, and Scoggins finds the steel and the humor underneath the starch.
