Dwight

Dwight surfaces as one of the ordinary-seeming men who cross paths with the Behavioral Science Unit's investigation, someone whose calm exterior invites a second look. He answers questions carefully, gives little away, and seems to understand exactly what the agents are hoping to hear from him.

Tobias Segal plays him with a stillness that never tips into obvious menace, which is precisely the show's method: unnerving people by refusing theatrics. The performance sits in the gap between cooperation and evasion, forcing both the agents and the audience to do the work of deciding what they're looking at.
