Detective Mark Ocasek

Detective Mark Ocasek is local law enforcement working a case the FBI's Behavioral Science Unit wants a piece of. He's territorial about his investigation, unconvinced that psychological profiling counts as real police work, and openly skeptical of Holden and Bill's methods when they arrive to consult.

He's the show's recurring friction point: a working cop who resents being told that talking to killers beats footwork and evidence.
