Dennis "Cutty" Wise

Cutty walks out of prison after fourteen years into a Baltimore he barely recognizes, trying to figure out whether the streets still have a place for him. He drifts back toward the corner life out of habit and lack of options, but something in him keeps hesitating, looking for another way to live.

His arc is quiet by Wire standards, no explosive scene, just a man testing whether change is actually possible in a world built to prevent it. Chad Coleman plays that uncertainty with real physical weight and gentleness, and the show rewards him with one of its few honest, hard-won redemptions.
