Cody Miller

Cody Miller is one of the agents orbiting the Behavioral Science Unit, a working FBI man roped into Holden Ford and Bill Tench's still-unofficial project. He's helpful, a little starstruck by the work, eager to prove useful on cases that are stranger and darker than anything in his training.

Holmes plays him as ordinary competence dropped into extraordinary territory, a useful counterweight to Holden's obsessiveness and Tench's weariness. He's not there to be a star; he's there to remind you these interviews are being conducted by a small, underfunded, slightly bewildered office, which makes the show's horror feel procedural rather than mythic.
