Charlie Francis

Charlie Francis is Olivia Dunham's partner at the FBI, a steady, competent agent who gets pulled into the Fringe Division's strange corner of the world alongside her. He's practical and a little skeptical of the weirder theories flying around, but loyal to Olivia and willing to follow the case wherever it leads.

Acevedo plays Charlie as the show's grounded everyman, a working cop's instincts pushed up against escalating impossibility, and that friction is what makes him useful early on. He's warm without being soft, and his easy partnership with Olivia gives the pilot's fringe science a human anchor before the mythology takes over.
