Charlie Fairhead
Charlie Fairhead in Casualty (1986), played by Derek Thompson.
He used to have one of the most stressful jobs in the ED but stood down to spend more time with his son, Louis. He took a sabbatical and then a demotion to do this. When he first started out at the department, he was a charge nurse. He held this position until 2003 when he was promoted to band 7 senior charge nurse, a position he still currently holds.
