Camille deLalisse

Camille is Emily's warm, effortlessly chic neighbor and quick friend, and also — awkwardly — the girlfriend of the handsome chef downstairs. She comes from a family with a champagne business, has an easy confidence about Paris that Emily lacks, and welcomes the new American into her circle before any complications surface.

The part could be a stock 'other woman' obstacle, but Razat plays Camille as genuinely generous rather than a rival in waiting, which makes the show's love-triangle wrinkles sting more than they would with a simple antagonist. She's stylish without being cold, and her friendliness toward Emily feels real, not performed.
