Brian

He's easygoing and quick with a joke, the kind of friend who's always up for tacos or a bad Tinder story, though there's more going on beneath the banter.

Kelvin Yu plays Brian with an unforced, low-key charm that makes the friendship feel real rather than sitcom-convenient. The show uses him to widen its lens on the immigrant-kid experience alongside Dev's, and Yu brings a dry, observational humor that never strains for the joke, letting quieter moments land just as well.
