Ayato Kirishima

Ayato is the sharp-tongued younger brother of Touka, running with a violent faction of ghouls who scorn coexistence with humans and see mercy as weakness. Cocky, quick to fight, and openly contemptuous of Kaneki's hesitant, half-human ambivalence, he presents himself as someone who has already made peace with what he is.

Yûki Kaji plays him as brittle bravado rather than simple villainy, letting flashes of old wounds show through the swagger before the show ever explains them. Ayato works because his cruelty reads as armor, not appetite — a kid daring the world to hurt him again so it can't surprise him.
