Character
Antwon "Skills" Taylor
Antwon "Skills" Taylor in One Tree Hill (2003), played by Antwon Tanner.
Skills is Nathan Scott's best friend and teammate on the Tree Hill Ravens, a quick-witted kid from the wrong side of town who talks a big game and backs it up on the court. He's loyal to his crew, sharp with a joke, and always ready to needle someone into a laugh.
He's the show's steadying sense of humor, the guy who can cut through Tree Hill's endless melodrama with one perfectly timed line. Antwon Tanner plays him with an easy, unforced charm that never tips into caricature, so Skills reads as a real friend first and comic relief second.
Antoine Charles "Skills" Taylor was one of the main characters of One Tree Hill, portrayed by Antwon Tanner. Introduced as a member of the River Court, Skills was an early friend of Lucas Scott. He would eventually join the Tree Hill Ravens basketball team in his senior year of high school in order to achieve a scholarship for college.
