Angie moves through the ordinary teenage world that surrounds Prairie's return — school hallways, small-town boredom, the loose orbit of Steve's friends. She watches the stranger stories swirling around her with more skepticism than wonder, unimpressed by talk of miracles, more interested in what's actually true.

Chloë Levine plays her with a flat, unimpressed naturalism that cuts against the show's mysticism — a grounded presence among characters chasing transcendence. She doesn't need to believe anything to be interesting; her doubt gives the story friction, a reminder that not everyone in this town is enchanted.
