Anastasia "Dee" Dualla

Dualla works communications on Galactica's bridge, the calm, competent voice keeping the fleet connected in the chaos after the Cylon attack. She's steady under pressure, kind without being naive, and quietly attentive to the people around her, including the awkward, damaged deck officer she starts to notice.

She's the show's proof that decency doesn't require an arc built on trauma. McClure plays her with unshowy warmth and precision, a bridge officer who is genuinely good at her job and genuinely good to people, which turns out to be rarer and more moving on this show than any tragic flaw.
