Adam

Adam presides over a hidden sanctuary from within a labyrinth of tunnels, his face and body marked by old burns, his manner utterly composed. He commands a small circle of followers with quiet, absolute authority, speaking in riddles about fate and free will. What he wants is not yet clear, only that it is vast, patient, and bound up with the town's strange loops of time.

Dark thrives on withheld information, and Hollinderbäumer is the perfect vessel for that withholding: he gives away nothing, yet every line lands like it carries decades of intention behind it. His stillness, his gravel calm, make Adam feel less like a man than like a conclusion the show is slowly building toward.
