The Playbook
Eight episodes, eight legends — Doc Rivers, Jill Ellis, Nick Saban, Dawn Staley, Pat Riley among them — each narrating their own philosophy of winning while polished re-enactments illustrate the lesson. It's less sports documentary than TED Talk with better lighting: motivational, tidy, occasionally profound. Good for anyone who likes their inspiration delivered in bite-sized, aphoristic chunks rather than messy, contradictory truth.

A grieving man learns patience, humility and attention by befriending a wild octopus off the coast of South Africa — mentorship stripped of ego, coaches, and even human speech.
But Slow, meditative, and entirely without competition or victory — the opposite pace of anything in The Playbook.
