Zoltan Chivay

Zoltan Chivay is a dwarf mercenary who falls in with Geralt of Rivia on the road, offering blunt friendship where the witcher expects hostility. Gruff, quick with an axe and quicker with a joke, he sizes up trouble fast and doesn't scare easily. He wants coin, drink, and decent company, in roughly that order.

He's the rare character who gets to be funny without being disposable — the script trusts him to carry real warmth under the banter. Danny Woodburn plays him with a weary, sturdy confidence, a man who's seen worse than whatever's currently happening, which makes his loyalty to Geralt feel earned rather than convenient.
