Yuji Itadori

Yuji Itadori is a high schooler with freakish physical ability who spends his time visiting his dying grandfather rather than chasing glory with the school's Occult Research Club. When a cursed relic threatens his classmates, he swallows a rotting finger to save them, binding his life to a monstrous force he never asked for. He's earnest, quick to act, and stubbornly kind.

His grandfather's dying wish — help others, die surrounded by people — gives him a moral spine that never curdles into naivety, because the show keeps testing it against genuinely monstrous costs. Enoki plays him with an easy, unforced warmth that makes his decency feel like temperament rather than plot armor, so every sacrifice lands as character, not convenience.
