Yoko Littner

Yoko is the sharpshooter of the underground village, the one who ventures to the surface and returns with tales of sky and sun. Armed with an enormous rifle and zero patience for cowardice, she takes the timid Simon and reckless Kamina under her wing, equal parts big sister and drill instructor pushing them toward the world above.

She's introduced as fan-service bait and immediately outgrows it, becoming the series' steadiest moral center through sheer competence and warmth.
