Wyatt Langmore

Wyatt is a Missouri teenager from the Langmore clan, quicker and more thoughtful than his family's reputation suggests. He wants out — real school, real ideas, a future that doesn't end in the family business — but poverty and loyalty keep dragging him back into the orbit of his relatives and the Byrdes.

Tahan plays Wyatt as a kid trying to read his way out of a trap, and the show lets his intelligence be genuine rather than a gimmick. His scenes with the Byrde kids expose the class fault line under the whole series — he's the one who actually notices what's being done to people like him.
