Woman #1

Woman #1 is one of Futurama's many unnamed faces in the crowd — a passerby, a bystander, a voice filling out New New York's streets and crowds as the plot needs. She has no fixed identity, appearing wherever a scene calls for an anonymous citizen to react, comment, or simply exist.

The joke of Futurama's world is how thick and lived-in it feels, and that's built from exactly this kind of throwaway role. Tress MacNeille, one of animation's great utility voices, gives even a nameless one-line part enough shape and comic timing to register, which is its own quiet craft.
