Willa Ferreyra

Willa is a struggling playwright and, by her own description, an escort, whose relationship with Connor Roy makes her an object of family fascination and mild condescension. She's sharp-tongued, self-aware about the transactional edges of her situation, and unwilling to fully pretend otherwise, even as she settles into the Roys' absurd orbit.

Lupe plays Willa with a deadpan honesty that cuts through the Roy family's endless self-mythologizing; she's often the only person in a scene willing to name what's actually happening. The writing uses her as an outsider's mirror to the family's dysfunction, and Lupe's dry, unimpressed line readings make her one of the show's funniest, most clear-eyed presences.
