Wendy Case

Wendy is Jax Teller's ex-wife, a meth addict whose using nearly costs her the life of the baby she's carrying. She resurfaces around the club hollow-eyed and desperate, wanting back into Jax's life and their son's, even as everyone around her doubts she can be trusted with either.

The show could easily flatten her into a cautionary tale, but Drea de Matteo plays Wendy's addiction as something raw and unglamorous rather than tragic-cool, all twitchy shame and flashes of real love underneath. It's a performance that makes you wince and hope for her at the same time.
