Wayne Arnold

Wayne is Kevin's older brother, the resident teenage tormentor of the Arnold household. He needles Kevin with nicknames, mockery, and shoves at every opportunity, treating him as a captive audience for casual cruelty. Loud, self-assured, and none too studious, Wayne seems to exist mainly to make his younger brother's adolescence harder.

Jason Hervey plays the bully without ever letting him become a cartoon; there's a recognizable teenage boy under the taunting, one who's clearly working out his own frustrations on the nearest available target. The show lets Wayne's meanness sit alongside flashes of family loyalty, which keeps him believable rather than purely villainous — the annoying big brother everyone has actually had.
