Warren Harding's Head

In the year 3000, humanity keeps its famous dead alive as heads in jars, and Warren Harding's is one of the many bobbing in the Head Museum's tanks. He surfaces mostly as a punchline, wheeled out to remind viewers that even preserved forever, some presidents just aren't very memorable.

The joke is entirely in the premise: eternal life granted to someone nobody particularly wanted to keep around. Billy West's voice work treats the gag with total deadpan sincerity, playing Harding as blandly self-important as history remembers him, which is funnier than any punchline the writers could have given him outright.
