Walt Breslin arrives in Narcos: Mexico as a DEA man with a fixed, quiet intensity, working the edges of the agency's rules to chase the men who built the Guadalajara pipeline. He is patient, watchful, and unwilling to let old failures stay buried, more interested in results than procedure.

Scoot McNairy plays him without swagger, all clenched calm and long silences, so the character's obsession reads through posture rather than speeches. The writing keeps his motives half-shadowed at first, letting the performance's restraint do the work of suggesting a man running on something older and angrier than duty.
