Walt

Walt is one of Professor Farnsworth's three unacknowledged mutant sons, living out of sight beneath New New York with his brothers Larry and Igner. He turns up sporadically to cause cartoonish chaos—dropping anvils, mugging for laughs—clearly modeled on a certain trio of sibling cartoon stars, delighted with himself and utterly unbothered by his father's mortification.

The joke is the parody itself: three Animaniacs knockoffs wedged into a science-fiction sitcom, and Walt sells it by playing the bit completely straight, never winking at the audience. Maurice LaMarche, a virtuoso of vocal impressions, gives him just enough manic squeak to make the homage sing without ever tipping into outright imitation.
