Vorena the Elder

Vorena the Elder is one of Lucius Vorenus's two daughters, glimpsed in the household he has left behind while soldiering with Caesar's legions in Gaul. She is watchful and a little wary of the father she barely knows, caught in the ordinary tensions of a Roman family trying to hold together in his long absence.

Rome is a show obsessed with the private cost of empire, and the Vorenus daughters are where that cost lands hardest and quietest. She doesn't get grand speeches, but her guardedness toward a returning stranger of a father says more about war's toll on families than any battle scene does.
