Character
Viktor Hargreeves
Viktor Hargreeves in The Umbrella Academy (2019), played by Elliot Page.
Viktor is the odd one out among the Umbrella Academy siblings — the one their father decided had no power worth training, and raised apart from the rest as ordinary. Quiet, watchful, and used to being overlooked, he plays violin, keeps to himself, and carries a lifetime of feeling like the family's afterthought.
The show spends years building Viktor as the sibling everyone underestimates, and Elliot Page plays that underestimation from the inside — all restraint and banked feeling, a person who has learned to take up as little space as possible. When the character finally gets room to want things openly, the performance makes every inch of that reclaimed space feel earned.
Viktor Hargreeves (originally Number Seven, previously referred to as Vanya Hargreeves) was a kind and quiet member of the Umbrella Academy, and one of the superpowered children conceived from the Marigolds. Despite being capable of powerful sound manipulation, he was seen as too dangerous by his father, who kept his powers suppressed for much of his life as a result.
