Victor "Vic" Schmidt

Vic is Sarah Manning's ex, a small-time hustler freshly out of a stint at rock bottom and newly, loudly reborn as a clean, God-fearing man. He wants the money Sarah owes him and the respect he thinks that reinvention has earned him. He talks tough, postures harder, and can't quite convince anyone, including himself.

Michael Mando plays him as a man performing confidence he hasn't earned, which makes Vic funny and faintly dangerous in the same breath — his menace keeps deflating into neediness. The show uses him as comic pressure valve amid the clone conspiracy, but Mando never lets the bluster become pure joke; there's real desperation underneath the swagger.
