Victor Stone / Cyborg

Victor Stone is half man, half machine, a former star athlete rebuilt by his scientist father after a catastrophic accident. He fights crime as Cyborg, sleek and capable, but underneath the armor plating he's furious and grieving, still negotiating what's left of himself with the man who saved his life by changing it.

Joivan Wade plays the show's straightest arrow with real ache — Cyborg is the character most anchored in ordinary human hurt, a son who can't forgive his father, surrounded by teammates whose damage is stranger but no deeper. That contrast, sincerity next to absurdity, is what makes Doom Patrol's tonal whiplash actually land.
