Victor

Victor is one of the many minor faces who drift through the Planet Express universe, a background figure glimpsed doing a job or filling a scene rather than driving the plot. He appears, does what the moment requires, and moves on, leaving only a voice and a flicker of personality behind.

Maurice LaMarche is one of animation's great chameleons, and even a small role like this gets the full craft: a distinct cadence, a specific comic rhythm, a sense that someone lived before the camera found them. Futurama's gift is treating throwaway characters with real vocal personality, and Victor is proof of that generosity.
