Ultra Guy

Ultra Guy is one of Futurama's many parody superheroes, a preening do-gooder who struts through New New York with the exaggerated confidence of a comic-book icon. He talks a big game about justice and glory, mostly to draw attention to himself, and treats crime-fighting as performance as much as duty.

He works because Futurama never plays superheroics straight, and Maurice LaMarche's booming, self-important delivery turns a one-note gag into a tiny comic gem. The joke isn't the powers, it's the ego underneath the cape, and LaMarche nails that blustering self-regard in just a few lines.
