Character
Troy McClure
Troy McClure in The Simpsons (1989), played by Dan Castellaneta.
Troy McClure is a cheesy B-movie actor who had fallen on hard times. McClure is a stereotypical Hollywood has-been, reduced to appearing in low quality films and television presenting jobs. He was often seen shilling for shoddy products or hosting questionable shows like I Can't Believe They Invented It!.
