Trolls

Trolls appears as one of the many quick, odd faces that drift through Futurama's background - a small role built for a single joke or scene rather than a running arc. Voiced by Maurice LaMarche, the character exists mostly to serve whatever gag the episode needs in the moment.

LaMarche is one of animation's great utility voices, able to drop into a minor part like this and make it land without asking for more screen time than it deserves. The pleasure here is craft rather than character: a small role given full commitment, which is very much the Futurama house style.
