Tormund Giantsbane

A wildling raider of huge appetite and huger laugh, Tormund fights south of the Wall before falling in with Jon Snow's cause. He boasts of killing giants and bedding bears, drinks like the world is ending, and backs his big talk with real ferocity in a fight.

Hivju plays him as pure, joyful excess — a man who treats every meal, brawl and boast as the best thing that's ever happened to him — which makes his softer moments, particularly his open, hopeless devotion to Brienne, land as comedy without ever curdling into mockery.
