Torgo's Spokeswoman

Torgo's Spokeswoman is a chirpy, robotic pitchwoman who bursts into Futurama's world mid-episode to hawk Torgo's Executive Powder with the manic enthusiasm of a late-night infomercial host. She exists purely inside advertisements-within-the-show, smiling too widely and promising too much, selling a product whose actual effects are left alarmingly vague.

She works because the joke is entirely in the delivery: Tress MacNeille nails the plasticky, over-caffeinated cadence of consumer-product hucksterism so precisely that the character needs no backstory to land. Futurama uses her as a quick, recurring jab at advertising culture, and MacNeille's vocal commitment makes a thirty-second gag memorable.
