Tony

Tony turns up on the edges of Mark and Jeremy's world, the kind of acquaintance who seems to know everyone in London without anyone quite being sure how. He's affable on the surface, quick with an opinion, and never entirely explains himself — which is usually the point.

Peep Show thrives on background characters who puncture its heroes' delusions just by existing normally, and Tony works that seam. John Hodgkinson plays him with an unbothered ease that needs no exaggeration — next to Mark's spiralling internal monologue, ordinary confidence becomes its own kind of joke.
