Toge Inumaki

Toge Inumaki is a second-year at Tokyo Jujutsu High, a laconic sorcerer whose cursed speech technique is so powerful it can compel anyone who hears his words to obey — so he speaks almost entirely in rice-ball ingredients to keep from harming the people around him. Cool-headed, dependable, quietly funny.

The gimmick could be a one-joke curiosity, but it becomes both comedy and character: a boy who has trained himself into near-silence to protect others, communicating through gesture, expression, and the occasional deadpan 'salmon.' Kouki Uchiyama finds real warmth in the restraint, so Inumaki reads as gentle and formidable in the same breath.
