Timon

Timon is Mark Antony's hired muscle, a Jewish soldier who handles the ugly errands his master doesn't want traced back to him — intimidation, violence, whatever keeps Antony's rivals in check. He is loyal, efficient, and unsentimental about the work, a professional who has made peace with what the job requires.

Rome is full of men serving power without illusions about it, and Timon is one of the plainest examples: no ambition to rule, just competence and utility. Lee Boardman plays him with a flat, watchful calm that makes his violence feel procedural rather than cruel, and lets the character's quieter question — what a man owes his own people versus his employer — surface without ever becoming a speech.
