He appears as exactly what his title promises: a keeper of exotic creatures in some far-flung corner of the Futurama universe, brisk and businesslike about the animals in his care. He's a minor figure passing through the Planet Express crew's orbit, there to move the plot along with a bit of deadpan professionalism rather than to be the center of attention.

Billy West's gift for one-off supporting voices is what makes a character like this land at all — a distinct, fully committed vocal texture dropped into a single scene, gone before it overstays. It's a small pleasure typical of the show: even a walk-on job title gets a voice actor treating it like a real person with a real occupation.
