The Prophet

Twenty years after the collapse, he leads a settlement of children who call him the Prophet, speaking in riddles lifted from a strange old comic book. He appears first as rumor and threat, a young messianic figure with a following of armed kids, and the Traveling Symphony crosses his territory uneasily.

Zovatto plays him as unsettling rather than simply villainous, all soft-spoken certainty and borrowed scripture, so you're never sure if he's a monster, a wounded kid, or both. The show lets his menace sit alongside real pathos, and that tension is what makes every scene he's in feel dangerous and sad at once.
