The Little Prince

A small, courtly figure whose very name gestures toward the wistful literary prince of legend, dropped into Futurama's chaotic future as a passing curiosity rather than a fixture. He carries himself with an odd formality, out of step with the show's usual anarchy, and seems more puzzled by than a part of the world around him.

The joke is entirely in the incongruity: a delicate, storybook presence wandering through a cartoon built on burps and bureaucracy. Tress MacNeille, working from a well of odd voices across the series, gives him just enough sincerity that the gag lands as sweet rather than mean, a tiny piece of whimsy in a very loud universe.
