Tennessee turns up in the world of Schitt's Creek as a brief romantic interest, someone who catches David's eye with an easy confidence that immediately reads as a little unlike anyone else in town. She's poised, faintly mysterious about her own life, and clearly used to getting what she wants without much effort.

Sarah Power plays her with a light, knowing charm that keeps David slightly off balance, which is exactly the joke the show wants. She's a small role, but the performance makes her feel like she has a whole other life happening just off camera, which is more interesting than most one-episode love interests bother to be.
