Teddy Lockwood

Teddy Lockwood drifts at the edge of London's moneyed social circle, the black sheep of the powerful Lockwood family who wants nothing to do with the empire his relatives built. Quieter and more principled than the friends around him, he watches the group's excesses with visible discomfort, more interested in real connection than status or spectacle.

Griffin Matthews plays him as the rare person in this world who seems genuinely uncomfortable with wealth's casual cruelty, which makes him an easy audience surrogate inside a very ugly playground. That decency reads as unusual rather than saintly, giving the character a quiet moral weight the show can lean on without ever making him a bore.
