Suguru Geto

Suguru Geto is a jujutsu sorcerer and Gojo Satoru's closest friend, first seen in flashback as a calm, capable upperclassman with a wry, easy warmth. His technique lets him swallow curses and turn them into weapons. He speaks softly about protecting ordinary people, and seems, at first, like the most stable person in the room.

Sakurai gives him a gentleness that never quite curdles into softness — there's always something watchful underneath the kindness. The writing uses him to ask what happens to a good person worn down by the ugliest parts of his job, and lets that question sit unresolved for a long time before answering it.
