Sturmhond

Sturmhond is a privateer captain who sails into Alina Starkov's path with a reputation for outrunning the law and a nose for profitable trouble. Charming, quick-tongued, and impossible to pin down, he claims to want only the bounty on her head, though his crew's loyalty suggests there's more to him than swagger.

The writing hands him every good line in the room, and Patrick Gibson spends them like he's got more where that came from — a rogue's confidence that never curdles into smugness. He's fun in a show that can be very grim, and that contrast is exactly the point: you enjoy him before you've figured out why he's really there.
