Stoned Guy

He turns up wherever a couch and a haze of smoke can be found, drifting through Futurama's background scenes with heavy eyelids and a slow, faraway drawl. He doesn't want much beyond the next snack or the next non-sequitur thought bubbling up through the fog. Mostly he just observes, bemused by everything.

Phil LaMarr gives him a molasses-slow cadence that turns throwaway lines into perfectly timed jokes, the comic pause doing more work than the punchline itself. He's barely a character on paper, but that flat, stoned deadpan makes him one of those background bits fans quote long after forgetting the episode's actual plot.
