Stark

Stark turns up as a fellow prisoner in the Gammak Base cells, a twitchy, masked stranger who talks too fast and seems to be fraying at the edges. He claims strange senses and stranger purposes, and it is never quite clear whether he is dangerous, mad, or simply broken by what he has survived.

Paul Goddard plays him at a pitch just short of hysteria, all clipped words and sudden stillness, so you're never sure if Stark is comic relief or a genuine threat. That instability is the point: Farscape keeps unsettled characters unsettled, and Stark's mask hides a performance that rewards close watching rather than easy reading.
